Email Redesigns
Emails are crucial to how SBJ subscribers consumer SBJ news. Different subscription types give users access to different emails. The weekly issue delivers a digital experience [instead of the printed weekly Journal] to the subscribers’s inbox showcasing of the week’s big stories and interviews, daily sends which includes 3 emails [morning, afternoon, night] to keep people in the know throughout the day about important industry news, and lastly Newsletters which are curated by SBJ reporters. Each is categorized to include sports business news that pertains to a particular subject such as marketing or media.
The goal was to update the look for each email to improve the user experience. By reorganizing the content and including thoughtful branding we saw an increase of engagement and click-thru rates.
